Karen Phelps

Born in Chicago and raised in Michigan, Karen Phelps earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University. She and her husband, Gene, have lived in the Cary-Grove area since 1987 and have three children. Beyond her fascination with business and web development Karen’s interests include: travel, foreign languages, and photography.

Professional Background

Before launching Landmark Innovations, Karen enjoyed a successful 20-year career with Hewlett-Packard (HP). Karen's entrepreneurial spirit called her to launch a business that blended her successful legacy in consumer sales, technology, finance and business communications with the desire to support the growth of businesses in the local community, so in May 2006, Landmark Innovations, Inc. opened its doors.
